Sunday's In My City...

Hello from "Geez is it humid,Holland:)" It's so warm and humid here so this is going to be a quick one. We all know the drill here. The super awesome Unknown Mami lets us link up with her to share a little piece of our lives. So head on over and check out what everone else is up to. This week I am finally able to show you my butterfly tree in full bloom and all the wonderful insects that have been visiting!
This guy was the first to land on the tree:) I snapped and snapped away.
He wasn't the only one to visit!
The bees have also been visiting and enjoying themselves.
Bees are sorta cute..as long as they don't sting.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Summer vacation has finally started for us. The boys get 6 weeks off and we've got tons of things planned! See u next week!

Pretty shots! The blooms on the tree give a great contrast to the butterfly. Very nice.

Bees and Butterflies....I need to plant one of those bushes. My daughter would be in heaven...as long as she doesn't get stung.

01:22 AM.

I am SO sorry. I was with that octopus before the game, like, Spain deserves it cuz they played so well against Germany. OMGOsh I was wrong.

They did not deserve it at all. (And I'm confused as a soccer newbie about which teams actually play beter than which...).

But when that Spanish player got mad and THREW the orange shirt guy down, I couldn't believe what I was seeing. And the ref didn't see that? Did you see that?

I have to go back. We were at our fave greek restaurant in downtown Wuppertal, with a group of people watching outside on a tiny TV. There was a huge NL flag covering our table and they rescued it before we spilled Coke Zero or Ouzo on it. There was also a huge Spain flag. I looked at this group, wondering why we seemed to be rooting for both teams. Aha, we were.

I wanted orange to win as soon as I saw them playing brilliantly.

It was soon obvious to me that everyone wanted orange to win for that reason. Our entire group of ambivalents turned toward NL.

Spain may have played well earlier, but NL deserved to win tonight.

Just like Ghana deserved to win against the hand players. (*shudder*)

We were totally somber as they took the silver and quiet and one woman cried.

I had cried "HUP"

*sigh*
